The kind and soft king of the monster lands. Harold, despite his appearance and how he is in battle, is basically a big, fluffy pushover. He does not enjoy conflict, he loves hugs, children, his wife Isabelle, his army, his citizens, and anyone good. When he and his wife had to decide Donovan's fate, he instantly pitied the poor human because of all the bruises and cuts he had as well as the tears. When Don told his story, Harold and his wife decided to pardon Don and made him a squire for Goren, their best knight.
Harold's guilty pleasures are mainly eating and sneaking off. He tends to like food a bit too much and he overeats making him plush-like and chubby. For sneaking off, when he's either bored or evading his wife's anger, he'll sneak off while no one is looking and get into all sorts of shenanigans.
Power:
While somewhat slower than his wife, Harold can still be pretty agile in combat. In terms of physical strength, he super strong and each blow smarts quite badly.
Magic:
He can summon lightning as well as big battle axes.

IMPORTANT FACT 1: Notice how Harold's eyes look similar to Dark Donovan's eyes.
IMPORTANT FACT 2: The monster that caused the monster/human war is actually Harold's great-great granduncle.
IMPORTANT FACT 3: Harold gets the same dark feeling from Don that he gets from his black dust urn.
P.S. Design wise, I may or may not have gotten inspiration from T'zharr M'ok w/ Harold's design Wink Razz. For everything else, yes, I definitely got a lot of inspiration from Asgore.

Harold: Well, I don't know every detail but, from what I've been told, he was very unlucky as he was mistreated and neglected by all except his sister and mentor. One day, he broke and destroyed the city that humans and monsters had shared. Many lives were extinguished that day. His mentor, reluctantly, killed his pupil and he became black dust (unusual because monsters normally become white dust). This event caused the humans to be angry and declare war on the monsters for this.
