HEAVENWALKERS: Birth of the Odyssey (Cover)
Several hundred years have passed since man took it's first steps amongst the stars. Passion, determination, courage, and sheer bullheadedness unlike any other intelligent nation have given the human race a universal notoriety unlike any other, steeled only further in place by their founding of the organization known as UAPA (Universal Aeronautic Protection Association). With this foundation, mankind sought to establish themselves as the protectors of the universe, to instill peace and resolve conflict no matter where it may arise.
This strength would soon be tested, as the Hearts of the Universe were uncovered, by none other than the cruel and merciless Kthalat nation.
War raged across countless starsystems, ships exploding all across the universe and littering the void in a million trails of glistening molten shards. Beams of light shattered the void, and an echoing cry shattered the silent void of the universe, shaking hearts infinite lightyears away. A mythical space beast, a creature able to survive the harsh conditions of the infinite, was struck down by Kthalat forces. The beast's body was taken, to be harvested for its legendary energy.
Mankind gained nothing but death and failure. But this failure was accompanied by an unusual consolation prize.
A young alien boy... with a body enveloped in protective light, drifted from the beast's open maw into an Earth battleship.
His name is Asteri, the Child of the Stars.
