A Ground Attack variant of the T-55 Reek, developed later during the fight against the Empire and built as a means of supplementing the limited number of T-65G's in service within the Rebellion. By the Time of the Battle of Endor against the Empire to attack the second Death Star, a large number of the T-55's in storage had been converted to T-55G Ground Attack Reek to shore up the single squadron of T-65G Ground Attack X-Wings and all would be deployed during the battle
