Ah, now we're getting to the REAL question.
We got the HOW and WHAT of the events... Now we need the WHY.
There's usually a reason things happened, and it seems unlikely the Hero so Willingly went Turncoat, for simple power. It's too simple, too... Easy.
The hero was strong, very strong, they already had power and strength in abundance, so a mere Power Trip is unlikely.
Was it Lust, a want for an Exotic lay with a Seemingly incompatible creature like the Demon?
Or... Was it tiredness, or a wariness of Things? Was it because of too many fetch quests from apparently lazy mice? Was it because they already had done this before, only for the worse outcomes to happen?
I suppose we shall see soon enough.
