I remember about a year ago this sketch won a Patreon poll to have finished. During the livestream when I was about to lay the first marks, I simply typed “YOLO”.

And to everyone’s surprise, I pulled out a marker and started coloring the base color down which would later be gone over with Prismacolor pencil. As one watcher put it when I pulled the marker out, “That is YOLO! c.c’ ”

This was the picture that started off my curiosity about doing full color drawing in a hybrid media style. I may spend most of my time doing greyscale graphite, but I sincerely wished I did more actual, true full color drawings. >.>

The media technique is very tough on my hands and takes a long time, both things that discourage me from doing it. The long time also causes this style to have an excessive price tag associated with it when on commission.

But here we go! A nice point of view scene of Thoryza the Zeraora’s pawhand and a little airplane flying through the pawpad crags! >w> She also wears a pretty nifty underboob top when at micro size.
