I'm thinking "Wow" because everything looks natural and correct. I can't believe you drew the individual strands of eyelash hair. That's incredible to get the flow correctly. Did you sketch any scales, graphs, or indications that let you know the direction for each part? Thanks for sharing your work.
Thanks so much...I'm glad you noticed all the hard work ^^
I don't use to sketch so much, I like "one lined" works because I hate to erase (it used to stain my work) but sometimes the drawing gets some mistakes (proportion, perspective...etc) due to the non sketching step u_u'
You deserve a lot of credit for completing such a difficult task.
I love the works where it looks like the artist took their time on it. I tend to rush through at some point (mostly when it comes to coloring) but I'm training myself to take my time. You did really awesome, I see no errors in it. I believe if you keep drawing this way, you'll be so good that you wont have to worry about erasing or messing up but maybe on rare occasions.

I don't know if I get that point so fast...I got stuck on digital drawing and coloring by now x_x and my tablet is so lame, I have to make the same line about 10 times to get the right one because of the delay and the little interference it has....(hope I have a wacom *O*), so I'm slower as ussual
I'll take the pencil again one of these days...when I finish all my pendidng stuff u_u'
THanks so much! ^^...if you want some tips for coloring just ask me, but you HAVE to be patient ;)
Yeah it does, but I'm getting better each day ^^, it would be insane if I needed all my years of experience in traditional to do the same with digital x_x, hopefully isn't so hard when you are used to it.
No, this one was made 100% in paper, it couldn't be done on computer xD, even if put textures on it, it never look like traditional works.
I use color pencils when I want to make a fast drawing (digital coloring takes about 5-8 hours and traditional just 2-3) and I only mean coloring!.
The secrets are:
have knowledge of light and shadow cast
have knowledge about the volume of the subject
having patient
be gentle with the pencil and the paper (don't make strong traces)
paint with layers
That's all I can say...for each one you can have lots of tutorials but only practice is the key. I have a deviant art account, there are lots of tutorials, I can look at the best I found to send you the links ^^. After you look at the tutorial you can ask me extra stuff

I heard you do need some traditional experience to do well digitally. I don't think anything is hard once you get used to it. It's just if you find the longer length of time to complete hard.
What do you use to create your digital works? Photoshop?
I believe I have everything down on the check list accept for the having patience ^ ^.
That would be cool. Hey, I have a DA too, it's the information I have on my page as website. I have one painting in it of me and my family in it.

Yeah, it's all about getting used to it xD
Sometimes I use pencil and paper for the sketch (not too often), over that I draw the lineart on Photoshop CS2 and paint it on Corel Painter 9, finally I add textures and effects with photoshop. sometimes I do it entirely on photoshop, maybe isn't the best program but I have been using it about 5 years, so it will be hard for me to use anotehr one xD.
You NEED patience to paint, there's no other way to do it. I have no tolerance or patience with people, but I have them with my artwork xD
Have DA? cool! I'll note you there then ^^

Thanks! but I know it's not true xD
The shade?...well there were many layers like I said before, soft layers of shading and smudge, I smudge a lot there, it looked so caothic than I tough I wouldn't work :(, but I add all the details to give the realistic effect (specially the darkest parts) and finally I used the eraser to get the highlights areas and it worked out ^^

It's true indeed. I don't really look at a lot of realistic art, it's really been a while. It's like the examples I've seen out of a book... are you a famous artist undercover? Believe me, the great artists probably say the same thing you are but all I know is that the outcome looks hot.
Wow! Cool ^ ^ I had Chile as my assignment in Spanish class back in 7th grade. Sorry to hear that.
If you don't mind my asking, what is popular or most appreciated over there?
I'm up in North America and the one thing you'll hear most of all that mostly everyone will be talking about is Football.

Really? that's funny xD
Roberto Matta and Nemesio Antúnez are the most famous (both dead and "abstract painters, they have another works but not of my taste) the best for me is Claudio Bravo (his paints are hipperealistic, and as coincidence there's a football player with the same name). You can look at their work on google and you'll know what I mean xD
