Okay, been a while since I posted anything Farthing Wood related, but here is the latest from my friend RockyGems, and RockyGems alone! Now I know a lot of fans, including myself often depict Adder being pregnant with Sinuous's babies. I myself came up with some Adder and Sinuous fan kids, but I have been thinking: everyone has done that, so why not try something different? So what if Sinuous died before he and Adder could concieve children? So instead, after Sinuous's death, she meets another male snake and has a daughter with him.

Here we have her husband Watchful, and their daughter Mellow. Now Watchful is basically an Adder version of my character Greg from my other Farthing Wood fanfic. In fact, Watchful is basically Greg in adder form. Alternate universes and what not. Watchful is quite different from his wife personality wise. First off, he's a nice guy. I mean he's pleasant to be around. Not to say he lacks a killer instinct, he will kill if he has no choice, but normally he tries to look for a less violent solution. But heaven help you if you put his family in danger. Watchful actually has something in common with Adder. He too lost a mate. Basically my current story is that Watchful's mate was killed by Scarface around the timeframe of when Adder killed Bounder. I was thinking Scarface killed Watchful's previous mate mistaking her for the Farthing Wood adder. So basically he and Adder are each other's second loves.

Now Mellow Is more or less a sweeter version of her father. She's basically the nicest snake you could ever meet, and she loves her father a lot. Yeah she's a daddy's girl. Her relationship with her mother isn't as close. She does love her mother though and wants to make her proud. Out of her mother's friends, she is closest to Toad and Owl. She refers to Toad as "Uncle Toady", and Owl as "Auntie Owl". Plus I imagine she would get along well with Owl and Hollow's children. Though as sweet as Mellow can be, when pushed, she totally shows she is her mother's daughter.

Adder's relationship with her family is as follows: She is still the same old Adder, though I imagine she is a little more open about her feelings and loves her family dearly. She tries to be both protective, but strong with Mellow, wanting her to grow into a fine snake. I imagine her experiences with Sinuous showed she is capable of feeling love for another.

Well that is all. Maybe I will write a story about this one day? I mean I already have a colab Lion King expanded universe, and probably going to do the same with MLP, why not AoFW?
