A commission I received from a high school classmate as a gift for her friend. She wanted something that was detailed and beautiful, but not too elaborate and comfortable to wear everyday. I was quite pleased that she chose the faceted ring I designed as I always enjoy making them.
To keep the ring as comfortable as possible I increased the number of facets by dividing each of the flat facets into two very subtly sloping facets. They were very difficult to file neatly, but the result was well worth the effort and the client and recipient were both more than happy with it - always a good thing haha
