I know I have been trying to draw the original characters from my comic that I've never drawn (by hand) before, but after recently playing on Star Fox Assault again, I decided to try my hand at Krystal. Remarkably, as much as I like this character (yes, in that way), I've never actually drawn her before, nor any other character from the Star Fox universe. Technically, since Star Fox has appeared in my comic, I guess Krystal still counts as a character from my comic I hadn't drawn (by hand) yet, although she is not an original character.

I'm pretty pleased with the results, although I did waste an afternoon trying to create a 3D model of an Arwing in Google SketchUp to go in the background. Unfortunately, while it started out good, I got the engine, cannons, and G-diffuser system and just couldn't figure out how to proceed. I shall revisit the project at a later date and put more preparatory work into it rather than trying to do the thing on a whim (and make a mess of it).

Anyways, I think the pic works fine without an Arwing. :3
