Fanart Day: Balto&Jenna
Finally, here we go!
My Patrons requested these cute lovebirds this month, and here they are :3c Balto and Jenna 💙
it was interesting to draw two canines with slightly different anatomy. Jenna's paws are far smaller and more delicate, so is her muzzle. Balto is more... sturdy and rough.

Dear Anabel,
since month I have to admit that I refind your artwork very often. it is so full of atmosphere, detail and catches/carries so much of the spirit of the characters - here Balto & Jenna, or Simba and Nala or Lady and Tramp. I am really fascinated.
Nearly a year ago I asked for permission to recolor your lady and Tramp artwork and you declined politely - I accept that 8and did not have very much artwork then).
In the last ten month I have recolor a lot of artwork and I am so thankful to all the great artists who gave me their permission. Even artists who "do not usually do this [giving permission]" allowed me to recolor their artwork - one artist told me that she really feels the respect and spirit in my recolorings. Statements like these make me blush but you can find examples in my 'gallery': www.deviantart.com/tea-iroh and partly here in my 'gallery' on FA.
Also, I am afraidf that i did not find the right words, ten month ago and therefore, I want to ask in a humble way, if I could
1. set the colors on black and white / or maybe there is a line art which I am allowed to use
2. print it and
3 (re)color it (with credit to the artist) to learn more and led me lead by the atmosphere of your artwork and the characters/scenery. This means: No commercial use, just uploading it to my 'gallery' with credit to you AND linking to the original artwork.
You shurely have the right to decline - but your artwork is so fascinating that I can not help to ask politely once again for this Jenna & Balto artwork.

Though, I'm afraid I'd feel very uncomfortable if someone took my artwork and recoloured it.
I completely understand the learning purposes of this exercise - but I don't like the idea of filling gallery with recoloured art that you didn't commission.
I'm really sorry, but I have to decline.
That being said, I truly appreciate asking for the permission and wish you good luck on your further art-adventures!
