"Barricade is a mutated canine berserker. Before he enters battle he drinks a potion made of henbane, to induce a trance-like state causing full-blown rage. It dulls pain and lowers blood pressure so he does not lose much blood when injured, making him nearly invulnerable. The potion can have some less desirable effects, like the inability to recognize faces and hallucinations, so he prefers fighting alone so that he does not harm his allies. The potion has lingering side-effects that last for days after the high has worn off that he treats with a recovery potion.
He wears shoulder armor attached to a harness and uses his left arm as a shield resulting in the shoulder pad being beaten up. A small flask on his harness contains an extra henbane potion and a nearby pouch holds his recovery potion and bandages.
He takes teeth as trophies from his more challenging kills and attaches them to his armor or leather straps around his wrist. Wolfskins and a heavy fabric are worn like a kilt.
He's very large built, bulky with a somewhat hunched posture, with a very thick neck, wide face and small pointy ears. His bright golden eyes provide him with excellent vision while his large nostrils allow him to track down his kills with ease. He moves around on large, wide feet with sharp claws. He has a short nub tail. His canines protrude from behind his lips. His rough, furless skin is covered in scars."
