Little while ago I was fortunate enough to hit Key West wth my family. There's a local population of chickens that roam around 'wild', unperturbed by the crowds of tourists.

This one was among a group roosting in the trees in the late afternoon. I climbed up on a wall to get a better look and busted out my watercolors. A very chill rooster gentleman. He sat quite politely while I got down his likeness and coloring.

Done on Bristol board. Scanner kind of ate the color depth on the turquoise.
