Here's Ailin as a roedin! So this is basically what a roedin looks like on his planet, minus the eyes. The eyes are a trait of the Kolbiran race, where regardless of what creature they take the form of, they will always have the same eyes and that's how you can tell a Kolbiran apart from another creature.
Roedin are horned, equine omnivores loosely resembling unicorns. They have many similar behaviours as a horse, living in herds and needing to run often in large open areas. Their diets consist of fish-like creatures, jellyfish-like creatures, seaweeds that grow near the edges of bodies of water, and various types of foliage and flowers. They use their horns to fish, then shake them onto the ground to lift and eat with their tendrils. Their horns can store energies around them such as heat, light and even certain types of radiation, which they can use to subsist off of in times of scarcity, much like a camel. They can do so for up to two months before needing actual food again. Their tendrils make for decent reins when used as a mount, and they use them to inspect their environment like an elephant would with their trunk.
Their cries sound like a mix of birds and whales, and their sturdy but flexible hooves make them capable of climbing very sheer surfaces, even ceilings under the right circumstances. They are poached often on Ailin's home planet and are thus now an endangered species that the Kolbiran protect.
