I thought it would be interesting to take some photos as I paint, and I apologize; I'm still not quite practiced at photographing art. Here's our intrepid duo again, with most of the background complete. I should be more or less finished with this by the end of the day tomorrow, and then I'll actually... try to scan it.

Thinking the sky looks a little barren, so will probably add some foliage, and the rock needs a bit more detailing (and of course the cattail heads). Overall, this has been an awesome learning experience.
