As they were walking, side by side, Daskar and Miel started their new trip. They loved going on adventures together, and this was a new destination in their plan.
They heard there was a beautiful waterfall, ending in a calm lake. They looked for it for a few days, but it was nowhere to be found.
"Strange..." they thought, but they kept searching. In the end, they kinda forgot time, and ended up just being happy making new memories together. They were building something.
As the night fall, Daskar was starting to build a camp to sleep, and Miel was watching the surroundings. And then, he screamed "I found it !"
Daskar came running towards the voice, and stop at the edge of the cliff Miel was. The waterfall was here all along !
They look at each other and jumped in the water!
They laughed at how silly of a decision it was, but the water was refreshing.
They stayed quiet for a while, floating on the surface, watching the beautiful sky. Flowers were resting on the lake.
Daskar broke the silence "Look at me."
Miel shuddered. "I... I can't !" indeed, he couldn't. His eyes were no longer covered by his thick hair, he was scared of what he could see.
Daskar spoke again "I said, look at me." As he did, he gently reached out Miel's head underneath the water. Kindly, he turned it until Miel was now facing him, eyes open. Daskar smiled "See, it's not so bad right ?"
Miel was blushing hard. Sure, it was scary. But he accepted what he was seeing. He was strong now, he could make his own decision.
A new journey began for the two protagonist. And let's hope, a long one.
