Reference sheet for Octavious Virdoc, with a Backstory

Octavian was born in 497 AC, in Rome.

He was raised to be a gladiator by his dad who wanted to make a quick buck.. For nearly 13 years he trained, before his first bout.

Not only did he take down somebody twice his age.. But he reveled in doing so. Not a single wound on the young beast. His blood coating the lions white mane. And so he earned the title the crimson beast.

That continued for nearly 7 years.. Him killing hundreds of people, and being declared their champion.. Til one day he bought his freedom, to leave the capital and explore on his own.. He found the druidic tribes and studied under them. A few of them knew of his titles and made him swear to never harm another, in return for them teaching.


When he returned home, there was a feast. They wanted him to partake in one more bout. He declined.. That night, nearly 50 men stormed his house and slaughtered his family.. He was gravely wounded..

That's when Gaia found him. She was watching him while he trained. She thought he was worth forgiveness, and took pity on him.

She gave him new life. His mane changed to crimson permanently to show his past sins.

She bestowed him with a blessing and a curse; Immortality and Druidic Magic.
