Selene Tigan has proved invaluable since she joined the REPULSE. One of her hidden talents was recently uncovered in an engagement with an Imperial Patrol that managed to bracket the REPULSE. The two imperial frigates, smaller ships that sport a heavy triple 15 inch gun mount up front, came in a circling attack, firing at the REPULSE'S engines and keeping up speed to out maneuver the forward turrets and broadside mounts of the privateer. Aleutian Dex wasn't able to launch fighters, and the Repulse was outmatched by the maneuverability of the small ships. The carrier sustained heavy damage and the crew were taking losses when one of the frigates suffered a blast that ripped open the 15inch turret. The frigate veered away, passing in front of the REPULSE's port broadside guns, where it was decimated. The other frigate veered away as one of the bridge windows shattered. It was later found out that the Imperial Captain's head had become a cloud of red mist. The Imperial ship retreated.

Selene Tigan leaned back against the bulkhead of the mizzen top machine gun nest, a beautiful hunting rifle cradled in her arms. One bullet down the barrel of a 15inch gun wasn't a difficult shot for her. The explosive shell, set off by the rifle bullet, had caused a breech explosion. This would be the 7th imperial ship that Selene Tigan, the Lunar Moth of Ashcara, would take out with her father's hunting rifle.

She smiled, relaxing. Aleutian now owed her that bottle of wine.
