I had found some more photographs of me - with some talented people who I've made friends with over the years - which I'll be posting on a semi-regular basis during Spring, 2010.

One of these celebrities (and one of my best friends from central Florida) is professional artist/illustrator Mary Hanson-Roberts - who, in the world of anthropomorphic art, is best known for "Here Comes A Candle", her multi-chaptered serial from the comic book "Furrlough". Her other talents include drawings of mythical characters (dragons, gryphons, winged cats, etc.) - which she's been selling over the Internet - and illustrating and/or coloring sets of tarot cards (the best set of which includes various fairy tale and nursery rhyme characters - before "Shrek" made this trend popular).

I'd first met Mary at OasisCon (a central Florida sci-fi/fantasy convention), back in the mid-1990s. At that initial encounter, she was joined by fellow artists (and future "FA" members) 'Frenata' and 'Yippee' (who were both Florida residents, before relocating to California by the end of the decade).

This picture of us was taken at a late '90s edition of OasisCon in Orlando. Please take note: the dragon on my T-shirt was of Mary's design.
