This is something you aren't going to see very often! I've been carting this VERY old genet (or possibly civet, but it seems too soft for that) fur from a vintage coat around with me for the past couple of decades; it's probably twice as old as I am. It's from the sleeve of said coat, and since the hide was a little weak I added a fabric lining to it. The hand-braided reclaimed yarn cord matches the pelage nicely. I take extra care and time to prepare these older furs for use, and it takes me longer to create these pouches than if I used brand new fur--but they're well worth the investment!
