The Archmagnus Lorithin would often remind Knips of how he found her, a last surviving egg of her Tribe, the soul survivor of the viscous assault by an evil Mage. Lorithin found her in the rubble and brought her back to his tower and raised her, teaching her the basics of magic in exchange for her service in his research. she worked diligently, grateful for his mercy and teachings, watching as he crafted spells and mesmerizing every detail she could.
One day, eager to prove her self, she borrowed her masters spell book to find a bit of magic she could preform and show her progression. instead she found the tome full of dark rituals and plots, bent on harming others in order to empower the caster. In a panic she made off with the book, fleeing the tower and the city, hoping to keep it away form her master, and hide it where it could do no harm.
