Lady Aliya is the last of her kind as well. She is a battle mage that wields light magic. She was head of the princesses royal guard during the catastrophe, and despite losing her entire squad she safely guarded the princess until help arrived. Unfortunately for her, the "help" was an enraged Valtrak. Her kind and his never saw eye to eye, his kind taking to the darkness of caves and hers to the light and freedom of the skies. Before she could say anything, he charged the insurrectionists, butchering them and sending them reeling. She took the opportunity to rest as they retreated. Since then the two have formed an alliance, albeit a tentative one.

The sword she wields is known as the mirror blade, a silvered blade that channels and enhances her light magics. Her shield and armor were made for her by her former friend and lover, Ahmar the blacksmith.

She is bold, brash, and honorable. She morns the the lose of her people and their knowledge, and has vowed to bring them back.
