I had a little free time on my paws today (a rarity), so I sat down with a black ball-point pen and whipped up this self-portrait. The detail is kinda subtle, so if you're interested in seeing it properly I'd really suggest looking at it "full view".
Don't ask me why I'm all rugged up for cold weather - it's freaking HOT where I am at the moment. *shrugs* I think in my head I was visiting someone somewhere cold... =^.^=

Some of your ladies in previous drawings have conveyed a certain melancholy, and now here it is, lurking behind the eyes of a self-portrait. That suggested mood seems very poignant, perhaps because I know the feeling well; and even though its particular sources in your life will remain unknown to me, I'd like to hope that better times and happier moods will brighten your days in the years to come.

Black Ball Point Pen!?
Well congradulations you've just made my head hurt, as I've spent the last 10 minutes studying this portrait intently to discover your secret of sketching with a pen... How exactly does someone get their lines to come out so clean with a pen?
I do love the emotion, everyone seems to insist on showing their characters happy, sad, or something... one of those major emotions nessisary for good acting, but rarely as priminent in real life. Something about her looks so natural... it's a peiceful and inquisitive look she's carrying. Trying to figure out where she put the car after a brief shopping trip on a brisk midwinter day. It's lovely, and quite endearing.
