Even though many people refer to her as “lady” and she is the guardian of the kingdom’s treasure, make no mistake about this: Arimyst is still considered a princess. Though not related to the king by blood, this beautiful dragoness is heir to the throne; and as such she will rule the Crystal Moon kingdom once her father passes. However, despite being next in line to one day rule the kingdom she happily serves, Arimyst still holds a great deal of anxiety towards being placed into a leadership position; almost preferring to continue to follow rather than lead. While some of this stems from doubt, a good portion of this reluctance stems from her believing she is ill-prepared; which isn’t that far off from the truth in all honesty. If you recall correctly, Arimyst was taught to be a lady by her father during the earlier years of her life, but she never received training on how to rule a kingdom, instead learning about the empire’s history and combat in order to better protect the crystal moon. However, if and when Arimyst does finally take her spot at the throne, I feel she would be a fairly effective ruler! Heck, maybe even another royal dragon could teach her the way to rule; a way she can excite loyalty and respect from her citizens while still maintaining the air of a capable leader! What your seeing now is a lovely interpretation of Arimyst having fully realized and accepted the power she is destined to one day claim and how she has conformed to her now royal position. *TRIVIA: Arimyst’s father was fairly young when he was given the infant dragoness. This can be inferred by Arimyst’s current age as well as his elderly visage. It can also be assumed that despite his age, he is fairly resilient given he did not die after being injured when his daughter was kidnapped.
