One thing my last job taught me was to treat training as seriously as real life. With cheap props that can be very challenging. If you're prudent and know when inflatable toys are cheap, some lifeguard training can be a bit more realistic. As part of a worst day of hell on the job an overarching and highly realistic practical exam, we have multiple qualified lifeguards pretending to be foolish patrons. For some reason though, that lynx who pops all the inflatable toys seems to be very, very keen on roleplaying a kid with a dangerously heat stretched and overinflated toy that could pop at any moment. It certainly doesn't bode well that her claws are also out as she waits for her turn to torment and haze provide an accurate simulation for training to the new lifeguards. Wait, lifeguards? Where are the other overinflated toys?
This was about to be a pooltoy sitting in a white void of nothingness when I figured 'how hard could somewhat accurate water be?' The answer to that question would be very, so use a stock background and credit the provider; or in my case, use a couple examples from anime stills, and medicorely try to mimic them. What do you all think?

How so? If you're refering to popping I've avoided portraying children because the rest of my gallery makes it clear that I have a kink for most air filled toys. So I really don't have a chance to show her either explaining no toys in the pool or just pulling a plug on them to be more accomodating to a younger swimmer. I also try to portray her as fairly safety consious and to get down to brass tacks, inflatables do pose a safety risk to even moderate swimmers which is why a bunch of pools have a no toy rule. Now if an otherwise mentally capable adult breaks clearly stated rules, I tend to default to the idiom 'play stupid games, win stupid prizes' mentality.
If you're refering to my description of the training, I'm trying to use hypebole for a humorous effect. More advanced rescue swimmer training, which I'm taking inspiration from here, will also draw on tougher senarios than the norm which may seem like hazing at times to better prepare students for actual rescues, such as a distressed victim being tangled up in flotsum, or resisting a recue attempt.
I hope I've explained a little better for you.
