This is a sort-of tribute to one of my favorite manga-ka, Ai Yazawa. Her Nana series is fantastically tragic, hip, and, as always, stylish. Gotta love it. She also has this huge obsession with Britain in that series, especially the Sex Pistols. I'm not really that big of a Sex Pistols fan, but the song "God Save the Queen" kinda made me lull. Plus, the phrase is surprisingly appropriate for what Nikaya's story used to be.

I don't know why I wanted to draw Nika in modernish clothes, I just did... so I did.
