LOL no this is actually a 2019 case. I have a breadbin but it doesnt work. I have my other c64c case (wedge) that is my actual c64c with my brown keys. This one I am holding is waiting for my preorder for the Ultimate 64 elite motherboard I preordered from the Netherlands. It is a 2020 motherboard that is a FPGA but is basically a blend of old and new. Outputs are hdmi, 3 usb ports and wifi. The old is cartridge slot, cassette, and user port. Also has hookup for the floppy drive. Though the new motherboard has the usb function has your place to store all your programs/floppies on and it has an internal usb for a thumb drive to essentially be your internal hard drive. Ill have more pics when I set that all up and will have it with me at cons, though I may bring the original too.

Interesting - how is the sound, though?
I'm thinking of getting one of these: https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/shop.....oaded-mk2.html

Oh it sounds absolutely amazing and actually if I were you, I would preorder this. Its got everything you will need for a fully functioning C64 https://ultimate64.com/Ultimate-64

Honestly please don’t buy it to just salvage parts. These systems are getting harder and harder to find. I guess I’m just an originalist. If something needs repaired and you can solder than it’s worth fixing or you can find someone on the forums who will fix it for a price.

If you're interested in Commodore computers then I believe that I have the weekend event for you! There are two vintage computer conventions that go on at the same time in the same building each year: the Vintage Computer Festival Midwest, and the ECCC Commodore Computer convention! Admission for both events are FREE, and everyone intermingles. The event takes place in Elmhurst, Illinois, in September! More info can be found on their website here: http://www.vcfmw.org/index.html
One of the four vintage computer user groups that I am part of is a Chicago-area Atari home computer user group that has been active since 1981 ( http://www.scatarians.org/ ), and we have a table at VCF-MW/ECCC every year. VCF-MW/ECCC is an incredibly good time, and one of the few places where you can see Atari Falcons, Sinclair ZX Spectrums, DEC VAXes, NeXT Cubes, Sharp X68000's, BeBoxes, COSMAC ELF's, Commodore PET's, SGI Indys, and even a real authentic Apple I all running side-by-side.
With things being what they are with the COVID-19 pandemic, I can't promise that this September's VCF-MW/ECCC event won't get postponed or canceled. The event hasn't been cancelled yet, but things are still playing out. Even if worse comes to worse and the event doesn't happen this year there is always next year!
Either way, regards from a fellow vintage computer enthusiast!
