These are a pair of Steampunk-Inspired boots that I created in SecondLife. First I started with an Engineer Boot style and started throwing random copper and brass pieces here and there, saw what looked good, and removed what didn't. Then as I built on to it, I started making improvements, removing some cool, but going-too-far pieces from them and adding a few more subtle things. I'm pretty happy with the end result, including the "Incarnum Essence Capsule" on the backside of each boot's leg. (The glowing blue cylinder on the back of the boots.)

This capsule has an animated sculpt inside set to rotate inward, towards the boot, while it's applied texture rotates outward, away from the boot at the same speed, thus creating the illusion of moving, shifting liquid inside the cylinder. It works quite well and, while being fairly un-noticeable at first, should be good eye-candy for those who like to check out details.

I'll be putting these up for sale in my SecondLife shops as soon as I am satisfied with them enough to sell them. =)
