Another replica, this one I currently have, its an XM177E1, aka Colt Commando, aka CAR15 made by G&P.
Irl these were replaced fairly quickly by the XM177E2 wich had a slightly longer barrel for reliability & muzzle reports sake, but the E1 still popped up every now & then well into the 90s. They also had the distinct moderator on the muzzle, wich later got classed as a suppressor by the ATF, removing it from commercial sales.
All in all, I love older AR type rifles, but its a shame few companies make good replicas nowadays.

I did have a CYMA "M16A1" some time ago, but theres many small differences, like barrel thickness, lower receiver cuts etc. but for what they are theyre pretty good & the small incorrect details arent that big of a deal since it still has the look. Also more affordable retro style rifles are always good since more people can get into it as well.
