I received as a gift a bow and arrows! Now I can learn shooting! Well, the second arrow hit the wall, so I realized that shooting at home is not a good idea. :'D
But I felt like a real destroyer! Satyna the Destroyer! AHAHA

I used to train some new archers at my local club but that was some time ago.
Just a few tips:
1. Use your upper back muscles to draw, not your arms
2. Keep your head straight, don't bend forward.
3. At full draw, what we call "anchor", your arms should look like a triangle from above looking down.
4. Draw your string back fully.until it touches your nose and lips. But be careful not to draw all the way back behind your nose. Don't want your nose to fly off!
5. Keep your feet parallel. It should look like this -> | |, not like this -> V
6. Keep your shoulders level and parallel to the ground.
7. If you feel like you can't pull all the way back to your face anymore, please stop. You can very easily damage your back muscles and you won't be able to draw! D:
But most importantly: have fun! Archery is a sport you have to feel within. All the things I mentioned will come with time. Just be careful not to hurt yourself or anyone else.
You're shooting Olympian recurve by the way, same as me!

Thank you very much for your advice! I did not expect to meet a coach here.)
Do you do reconstruction or role-playing?
On Saturday I go to the shooting range so that I can put this knowledge into practice. 8)
"Archery is a sport you have to feel within"
This phrase sounds very beautiful! But I am a physically weak person, so when I pull my aunt, I think that it’s hard for me, my hands are shaking, oh my God, suddenly I’ll break something. *lough* Hope it gets better soon :D
And I can feel the archer's philosophy)

Welcome! I'm not officially a coach, it's just my passion to shoot and teach.
What pound bow are you using? I'd recommend a 20 pound bow to train form for beginners. And remember, draw and release with your back muscles, not your arm.
Also, is your string hitting your arm guard when you release? You'll have to twist(roll) your arm inwards if you do.
We could take this to notes if you'd like.

This is a great reason to take the bow again!
I have a photo from my first workout)

Ah usually the carbon arrow are not the cheapest:)
But wish you a fun, also I hope you aware not to handle carbon arrows by bare hand when you try pull it out of target. The carbon fibres has tendency damage skin of you slide it over your hand.
I prefer shooting traditionally:) have a fun ...
