This is the current charter of the Missouri’s Furries™ convention group.
Missouri’s Furries™ charter (1.0):
1. Goals
Missouri’s Furries is an organization devoted to family-friendly events based in the furry fandom. As a group, we both support and represent furries defined as people who enjoy the concept of anthropomorphic creatures. Any representation of the fandom that goes beyond that definition may vary for each individual, but does not necessarily represent the ideals of all furries as a group. As Members and attendees of Missouri’s Furries, we have goals to achieve and maintain.
1a. We will strive to create and maintain a positive family-friendly image for Missouri’s Furries and the furry fandom as a whole in the eyes of our attendees/members and the eyes of the public.
1b. We will strive to do our part for the community and the environment through charity, volunteering, and simply by setting a positive example to those around us.
2. Family-Friendly Conduct
Missouri’s Furries expects that its members and attendees set a good example while representing the furry community. Although minors may not be present, attendees/members must portray conduct one would expect in a public family-friendly environment, such as a theme park, school, or religious center.
3. Laws
The following laws must be followed at all times by attendees/members, but only in a way that would not conflict with other laws. Laws are to be enforced by the Missouri’s Furries Board and Volunteers. Depending on the severity of each situation, enforcement will be carried out in this order; Warning, Final Warning, Ban Until Situation Rectified, Ban with Temporary Probation, Ban for Set Time, Permanent Ban with legal restraining order. Only a majority vote by the Board can issue a Ban for Set Time or Permanent Ban with legal restraining order.
3a. Explicit Adult activity, conduct, or material is not allowed in/near Missouri’s Furries events. This includes anything visual, verbal, or implied in artistic or physical representation. Anything unsuitable for the family-friendly standards in article 2 is strictly prohibited.
3b. Refrain from the use of alcohol, tobacco, mind-altering substances, while in/near the event areas. If you appear to be intoxicated/inhibited to the extent that may impair you from keeping the event standards of article 2, you may be issued a Ban Until Situation Rectified without Warning(s).
3c. Physical displays of sexual affection that do not comply with article 2 are not allowed in/near event areas. Kissing, fondling, groping, and explicit gestures are not appropriate behavior for Missouri’s Furries events.
3d. For safety and legal reasons, all attendees must be 18 years or older or have written consent from a legal guardian to attend events. Attendees under 18 years must wear a Teen badge identifying them as minors. Any attendee under 13 years of age must wear a Kid’s badge and be accompanied at all times by a legal guardian 18 years or older.
4. Respect
Make sure as attendees/members we are respectful of each other.
4a. Some physical interaction is acceptable in certain situations between attendees/members. However, forcing physical activity is not appropriate. Make sure to respect the personal space of each individual’s differing personality.
4b. Attendees may bring fursuits/costumes and puppets appropriate to article 2. Those with a personal problem or phobia with such should not attend. Performers should also be sensitive to each individual’s level of comfort around costumes/puppets, and avoid forcing interaction with those who appear uneasy.
4c. Keep in mind that though all attendees share a common interest. They will come from multiple religions, cultures, orientations, political views, and beliefs. You’re welcome to be proud of these things, but also while being respectful of the opinions of others. Just be polite, while having fun.
5. Responsibilities
The Board and Volunteers of Missouri’s Furries are not responsible for the actions, satisfaction, health, or welfare of individual members/attendees or minors in the care of members/attendees. Please note that any attendee not following the articles above may be asked to leave the event(s), possibly stranding them without transportation to/from event locations. The Board and Volunteers are not responsible for providing funds or transportation to attendees for any events and are not responsible for loss of said or any personal items or belongings.
5a. A Board Member is an administrative official elected into position for a pre-determined term. At the end of that term, they may be re-elected or challenged. There is no limit to the amount of terms a Board Member can serve. It is the responsibility of The Board to ensure that this charter is upheld and enforced by The Board, Volunteers, and all members/attendees at all times.
5b. A Volunteer is a position approved by the Board for temporary duties or responsibilities pertaining to a specific event or series of events. It is the responsibility of the Volunteers to adhere to the will of The Board and ensure that this charter is upheld by other Volunteers and all members/attendees at all times.

Unfortunately we haven't created a form yet for parents to sign.
We just need a Signed note that states the following:

- Your parents are responsible for your well being and transportation and the group is not
If you have any more questions, feel free to send a note or email.
