CD loved the first four sketches  orangy drew so much, he bought me four more!

Here's the first one, Abby (aka FireDog):

Name: Abby Maddog-Davenport (a.k.a. Fire Dog)

Species: Canine (Sable Collie)

Height: 5’ 7”

Weight: 120 lbs.

Occupation: Partner in the Maddog Law Firm of Atlanta, Georgia. Formerly, the crimefighter known as Fire Dog, a member of the now defunct “Collie Squadron”

Weapons: None

Powers: Fire, Abby can become a living flame, shooting fire and using heat inversion to create ‘thermal rings’ to capture suspects. Flight.

Weaknesses: Water (of course), her ego and her vanity.

History: Unaware that her father and step-mother were the secret crimefighters Electro-Mutt and Super Genie, a teenaged Abby went out on an overnight camping trip with her five sisters, one brother and his finance. During the night, the group was awakened by the sound of a crash that caused the ground to rumble. The group quickly rushed over towards the sound of the crash to investigate. They found a strange glowing meteorite and moved in for a closer look. A sudden flash and discharge of power filled each of them, knocking all of them to the ground. The entire group was unaware at the time that the odd meteorite has given each of them unique superpowers. Abby’s was flight and fire. When they all returned home and told their parents what had happened to them, Ben and Rupee Maddog confessed their true superhero identities. The Collie Squadron was born, with a secret base located deep beneath the Maddog mansion outside of Atlanta. After the U.N. Superhero Relations Act of 2000 was passed, the entire Collie Squadron chose not to register and disbanded as an organized group. For the most part, each member of the old team stayed ‘underground’ and did little in the way of crimefighting or manifesting their extraordinary abilities. It was during this time that Abby fell in love with a wolf named Convoy Davenport. They were a strange couple, Abby a high-powered city lawyer and Convoy, a country boy who was a shade tree mechanic and horse rancher. True love conquers all, so the couple remains happily married to this day. It wasn’t until years later that Ben, Rupee and Abby came out of ‘retirement’ during a number of capers in Colmaton.

Personality: Abby has a tendency to be a snob, prudish and full of herself. She’s just as ruthless with her superhero life as she is in the courtroom, where both opposing lawyers and judges fear the fierceness of the collie dressed in the “Ally McBeal” look. Deep down, she has a good heart and wants to be helpful.
