Anon asked: "'I usually draw preds with their prey still struggling, because I like the implication of a long digestion process.' God yes, especially if it takes a few days before the prey finally stops moving and the pred continues about their day, even still needing to eat and drink despite having a whole person stewing in their gut. Makes preys becoming preds all the more appealing when their stomach isn't used to meat, but after a few weeks finally gurgle down their meal."
I definitely agree! Long digestions are the best. Especially if it's long enough for the pred to actually forget they're there, even if only temporarily. Here's that chubby mouse again, making (very slow) work of a large meal. I still need to figure out her name.

I am, in fact, quite happy! Though I will point out that she is based off an actual species of carnivorous mouse.
on insects (such as grasshoppers), worms, spiders, centipedes, scorpions, snakes, and even other mice. It also stalks its prey in the manner of a cat, sneaking up quietly, and defends its territory by "howling" like a small wolf. The grasshopper mouse is known to be immune to various venoms released by its prey (scorpions, snakes, etc.).[2] Grasshopper mice do not like bright lights so they generally try to prevent exposure to light; this has allowed for this genus to become nocturnal.[3]

Yep. Fun.
You are likely not the right artist for what I would like to see, you do not do hard vore much.
But variations on the 'woodcutter opens up the pred/wolf to let grandma out' part of little red would be an under-explored variant of vore.
Ditto, prey vomits up knife (kept in stomach for that purpose), opens up blade (if Swiss) or hits switch blade button, and starts interior slicing.

I'm not fully against hard vore, but that doesn't sound particularly appealing to me. Also, keeping a switch blade in your stomach seems like it'd be asking for trouble.
Actually, it's always been my headcanon that predators in my settings have somewhat pierce-resistent stomach interiors, which is why they can swallow species with claws with no problem. A small knife might not do one any good.

There are several things here that seriously push my buttons! i absolutely love long digestion times, just for the whole realistic aspect of it all.... having to deal with a whole live creature slowly but surely churning away inside one's stomach for a few weeks to even a month or longer! Still having to eat as they still need energy to even be able to digest their prey without being trapped in a coma the entire time and actually get things done!
Preds going about their casual, daily routine is a huge yes for me... completely disregarding the screams, struggles, and even loud gurgles and rumbles from their prey, passing them off as what they truly are: food. I've honestly had so many dreams and ideas to draw or comm comics of this idea, preds just trying to go about their normal routine, working around or with their heavily engorged, working gut, as it just very slowly and gradually rounds out and shrinks, preds having to try and hide and stifle the inevitable loud active gut churns or gas during inappropriate times, just enjoying their days as they would as their unfortunate dinner from that fateful night gradually gurgles~
First-time preds, particularly if it's a prey species predding for the first time, is such an underrated thing. Role reversal can be really fun, a new pred having to deal with the soreness and inevitible and almost constant indigestion as their stomach tries to make out what the hell is trapped inside it, just analyzing it over days or weeks, prey possibly still moving even that long, before finally, their stomach figures out the algebraic equation and the real digestion can finally begin~
just.... nnf~ really amazing stuff you've got here~

Gosh, yes! That's one of the best aspects of the long digestion thing to me: the idea of the pred going about their day, basically ignoring the still-struggling person in their stomach. I've actually drawn a few pictures on this theme before. I was even thinking about trying to get a new "discreet vore" tag going for this kind of thing, though I honestly kind of forgot about the idea. ^_^;
Thank you so much, and I'm glad you like my stuff!
