I'm gonna guess some sort of 'punishment' for once being an enemy to them.
Fun Fact: In the IDW Comics she spends some time with Angel aka Nobody at a remote cabin. As they are both contemplating on whether to retire or keep fighting they are swallowed by a giant toad whose belly is a pocket dimension that houses many people and creatures who have surrendered to a state of pleasures (games/vices/fetishes/food/dancing/etc.). The party host, Baron Toad, tries to convince the two to give into their desires; and they do for a while until they realize that they need to return to NYC. They then ask many people on how to leave the party but none of them know of a way, nor want to. One person they ask is bound, hanging by their ankles, and being tickled mercilessly on their feet ... and loving it; and whilst Nobody is trying to avert her gaze at this 'weird fetish' Alopex herself looks intrigued ... Maybe she wants to try it out, and this is her wish come true. XD
