sebafox, I say this because I love you. The good news: your anatomy here is as good as any macrophile's I've ever seen. Some might say the feet are a bit large, but hell, I like 'em like that. Shine on, you crazy diamond.
The bad news: this is also some of the worst comparison periphery scenery I've seen in a while, and it needs to be addressed.
1.Josh is walking straight, but the horizon is crooked, implying the shot of him is also crooked, so Josh is apparently leaning waaaaay back while walking forward?
2. I understand that footprint is supposed to be an imprint in the sand, but it looks like it's wrapping under his foot like a sandal, even as it extends upwards. What the devil is going on here? If this is elevation causing distortions in perception, it's pretty well-disguised as flat beach.
3. Those umbrellas look like stickers- like, legitimately, as if they were peeled from a children's book and stuck on the picture. They have absolutely no dimension to them, and they heavily contrast with Josh's 3D detail in the centerfold. This is true of everyone and everything else on the beach, really, but the umbrellas stand out the most imo.
4. I understand that putting detail on tiny people is a pain, but an attempt wouldn't have been unappreciated. Tiny grey blob-golems can only give the giant in these so much impact.
I know I'm just a fan, sebafox, not even an artist myself, and I'm probably putting a bullseye on myself for a blocklist for being picky about free work, but it's common knowledge that no one improves if they don't even know they can, let alone know how to, and ... I dunno, I'd better appreciate someone being honest with me about my faults than being willfully blind to play to my ego. A lot of artists don't have that strength of character needed to hear criticism; I'm hoping you do.

Thanks for the critique dude, im not mad at all, originally this wasnt supposed to be a macro pic. And thats why i started playing around with a simpler concept, i know its not as good as other pieces . But you ate right and i should try to put a bit more effort on the background next time.
Thanks fir bein honest =)
