As you can see the name comes from Blade in French and not Lame for "Boring".

Lame is the very first member to join the Team Ranger's guild. his montone and inexpressive tone make him a pretty particular pokémon. Never or almost we see this one showing anykind of emotion. Yeah, Lame is much more a stone than a Grass type pokémon. You may notice the lack of dislike thing this pokémon show for the same reason.

Eff. = Efficiency, don't let you fool by his missng emotion, he can show some good surprise too some Pokemon even with his body stone Language. 5/5
Naive = Naivety, His principal trouble is his lack of emoition bringing with a some missing linking when needed. It can be hard to times to times. 5/5
Skill = Skills, Don't hope to see him go on itself in a dungeon. Anyway it's not his role normally. His more a support member than a front line Pokémon. That's why he got a 2/5
Eml = Emotionless, I repeat myself, Lame is a rock with who we can talk. It can be frustrating to try to get some emotions of his part tho. 5/5
T.W. = Team Work, If I said a lack of emotion, I can say there some missing point of adaptation. He his really good and docile he can work with almost everyone except maybe some short temper. 5/5
