This is Celephi, the heroine of my WIP novel, Fireheart.

Celephi Fireheart is one determined young dragoness. Eager to become a healer like her mother, Celephi spends everyday sequestered in her room, reading and studying for her exam. When not studying, Celephi assists the village healer, Minervia in her medical duties. No matter if she studies or works, Celephi always takes her trusty bag stuffed with papers, books and potions with her.

Other Wyrms think she has no life outside of work, and they'd be right. Ever since Celephi's mother died from Wyrmblight- a rare disease, she has put her life on hold in order to become as good a healer her mother was. Her hard work comes at the price of her happiness, but it is a sacrifice she believes necessary to succeed, despite the concerns from those she loves.

Celephi's heavily regimented lifestyle is disrupted by the arrival of a young dragon named Therion. Belligerent, abrasive and rude towards her and Minervia, Celephi couldn't care less for him. Yet Therion's rebelliousness and rough exterior prove oddly attractive to her. And as she rehabilitates the dragon, Celephi discovers a kindred spirit within him. She could be falling for him, but will Celephi act on her feelings, or ignore the wants of her heart?

That's a question only she can answer.
