Very nice! Such a simple scene but very well drawn in both the clouds and the waves, and the way that the two of you are the only features in the sea makes you stand out all the more.

Actually it was a relatively fast piece...I can get the clouds done in under three hours now. The water took the longest because I had to figure out how to do it. So total...8 hours maybe? Somewhere around there.

Wow. 3 hours and your done with clouds? It'll taken me a whole month just to do clouds like that. And I can agree with you on the water part.

Well, sometimes people are not pleased if someone says "OMG! The background is awesome!!!" ... even though I have to admit that most people only say something about the character shown on the picture and don't even bother looking at the background ... ^^;
It's good to hear that you're still working on the other areas as well to improve, keep it up! :)
