Well, today (March 10) is my birthday, but weekday commitments mean I’ll be stuck at work tonight. Knowing that, I made due an effort to have some real fun over the past weekend.

Saturday was spent with family, friends, and the usual, good food and enjoying each other’s company.

Sunday was just as special, if not more memorable, as I spent the entire day with my plushy family. Given the amount of work I do, there’s nothing more I desire than to sit back and do nothing… no work, no commitments, no errands... a day without task.

So on this day of rest, in the early light morning, I gathered the furry family in the living room, brushing out their soft plush fur and preening their varying neck ruffs and manes. Together, we spent the entire day nestled, watching bad movies without a care, on through till nightfall, when we all fell asleep in each other’s warmth and cuddles to the soothing sounds of jazz on the stereo… oh, for the love of Plushies!….
