And your title of this piece is a clear giveaway to the "theme" it portrays.
It gives me the sense/feeling of "could have/wanted to make it to Heaven," but was "Denied" entry...
And your decision to type up the title with a period on either side of the word "Denied" is, to me, as if to, with total authority, say "(the first period —>) This is the verdict concerning this soul. (The word "denied"—>) This is how it shall be. (the last period, and only a period—>) ."
