I got to play around with my friend's copy of FLStudio 8 program for a few hours. This was the outcome. Basically, I built this whole MIDI sequence based on an original riff I tried out a few months back. A few of the instruments didn't work out the way I wanted them to (one of the cymbals sounds like it cuts off), but overall, I'd say that it turned out alright...considering I've never used a MIDI sequencer before.

I'm glad you like it! The crash was the one instrument I wasn't sure about.
Ah, I was just messing around with FL on a friends computer, but should I decide to get a MIDI program, I'll look up Propellerhead. Thanks for the tip :)
