I've finally broken down, gotten on the bandwagon, and decided to make a persona to reflect myself a bit in some of the drawings I do. Instead of any sort of easily recognized animal or something entirely fictitious, I went with a little known lizard species, a basilisk. (Also helps that it has mythological significance as well)

I considered other scaly species, but continuously drawing someone without legs or a more pointed face would have bugged me to death.

And beacuse I almost never create a character without some form of combat ability(blame my leanings as a Marvel fan for that), I decided to give ol' Shard here the same edge as his mythological counterpart. Namely the ability to turn something to stone with the barbs on his tail.
