Wash your paws, use hand sanitizer between washings and after handling high risk contamination sources like cash, if you have to handle those substances often wear gloves. Washing is good but not everyone can wash their hands when and where they would rather... A lot of businesses not only regulate how often you can go to the restroom, but specifically when, and for how long. So hand sanitizer helps. So wash when you can, use other means when you can't. Wet ones wipes may also help but i can't find an exact percentage on them besides .3% benzethonium chloride and not sure how that compares to the 60% minimum requirement for alcohol concentration.
