Will you understand the pun behind that pic ? (and no, this is not a reference to Monty Python's "Meaning of Life") I am not much skilled to reproduce real faces, but I doubt theirs are known anyway contrary to their name. Though, the title, the (scientific) fish name and the speech bubble should guide you. One at least should be relatively easy to find... As an indication, they are contemporary.

Anyway, did you also find for the one in foreground ? Apart if you are a fish specialist able to recognize its shape and know its scientific name (or the name of one character immediatly brings the name of the other to your mind), I find it quite difficult...

You know, my mind ALWAYS create puns of this kind (see for example all the logins I created to enter Paintchat, also all the names I gave Dam...). When I read or hear or pronunce "Coelacanth", I just automatically extract the last sound as it evokes something - or rather "somebody" here - else for me. But it can just happen with every word containing this, like Cantilever or Acanthostega !!!
I was talking about the philosophs themselves, not the fishes - though the coelacanth is contemporary to quite alot of other species... XD XD
