I looked at the pic first before reading the comment, and it actually looked really loving. When reading the fact the father is trying to punish the younger one I can only see that it must be tough indeed. x)

I love the wise 'sage' expression of the father (Those 'beards' help obviously).
The little one I thought was either female (softer looking), but being young probably explains that part too. I've never seen creatures like these anyway, so pardon me on that part. ;)

I like that its like he has horns, maybe the younger one is female because you would think at that size maybe they would have horns too or at least developing them.
