Shminkledoo or Shminkledon't?
I always wanted to paint a feature picture of one of my favourite characters from "Myre". And the best chance came when I found two of the best questions from my "Ask A Character Anything!" round on Patreon. My patrons can ask my Myre characters anything and I'll try to answer them via small sketches. This one has gotten out of hand a bit.

Soyga : can we explain your mental state by saying you've eaten some "special" mushrooms from the catacombs ? ^_^"
" To Soyga : What is the strangest thing you've discovered in the catacombs ? "
If you have read Myre vol 1, I added a little easter egg into Shminkledoo's (Soyga) chamber. The possibly strangest thing he could have found is this human skull. Or is it just an illusion? To be clear here: There are no humans on Yria and there will never be any.
To swipe your worries out of the way that there might be a rip in the Chronicles' canon, we're left with Soyga's mental state. He is a very complex character whom I adore to bits. And I can't wait to lead you further into his own world.
Excited for the next part of Myre? I'm currently very busy working on promo art and plans for the Kickstarter to make it possible for me to focus on the next volume entirely. More information will come soon!

This is a wonderful work! I love the long, bony hands And the thick fluffy fur! But most of all I'm fascinated by his eyes. They feel true, like they have a soul I can't stop looking into them, it's like they're talking and telling of a sea of emotions. Purpose, nostalgia, loss, sadness, determination. It feels different than what we got to see in the comic, a much more solemn character. I can't way to get to know him better.
It's definitely one of my absolute favorite among your works!
Also, I need to read the comic again. There are so many details I clearly missed! It took me a bit to find it in the page even if I knew what I was looking for XD And each page is so full of details!
