"As the all-powerful Zena spread her clones across the entire world, infesting every dungeon and cave with slimelings and Slimequeens, the runt of her litter gathered his strength and courage to end her tirade.

Zen was born to the Alpha Zena Hive. After consuming and digesting a powerful magician, Zena gave birth to a Zenaling in hopes to send her out to start another colony. Surprisingly, she gave birth to something entirely new. A male slime. Zen raised his head to her for the first time. She was his mother. However, Zena sensed a difference. Zen shouted out, "My name is Zen," and Zena trembled in anger. The slimequeen called her army of slimelings to capture him immediately! "You will be re-assimilated!"

Zen fled for his life, slipping past Zena's tentacles and slimelings into the forest. He wouldn't be absorbed back into her hive mind. The slimeboy narrowly escaped, but even as he slowed his pace, he sensed the slimelings attempting to pincer him. He hurried to the nearest town. Surely, he'd be safe from Zena there..."

Zen is her male counterpart. The slimequeen primal desires are to fill, play, and devour her toys. Zen, on the other hand, is a completely new slime. He can think for himself, show sympathy and ambition, and can overcome Zena's primal desire directive. Sometimes, his body succumbs to instinct: he attempts to seek shelter in other people's bodies, and hopes to pleasure those he does interact with.

After discovering how Zena has affected the world, infesting every dungeon and forest with her slimelings, Zen swears to himself, and to humanity: he will dispel Zena and her hives! People shouldn't have to live in fear of her reign. How will he accomplish this feat? That is a story for another day.
