I agree. Werewolves have become mainstream (especially with recent films targeting the 14-year-old girl demographic). Personally, I've never been a huge fan of werewolves; there's just nothing about them that interests me. I wouldn't want to hurt anybody or have to kill to survive. If I had the chance, I would much rather be a big, docile, pachyderm. Though werewolves seem to be the most popular here, there is some elephant folklore in Eastern cultures. There's tales in Africa that warn children not to stand their feet in baskets for fear of becoming an elephant. There's also the story of the mere-wife:
