Mercury decided to dedicate less time in the books and more time in the gym since he went from meek mouse to Mega Rat! He has an IQ of 210 after all along with an eidectic, photographic and audio memory. So he can store all that knowledge in his brain. Not to mention he let his hair grow out to look more intimidating as he didn't really need his eyes to see unless he had some books to look through or chemicals in his lab to work with. To add onto that, he even got some more chain tattoos on his arms. You can hold him down but at the end of the day, this rat is truly unchained!!
