I'm in the mood right now, so here's a shot at this photo!
where every path begins,
there must exist the end.
some of us lead a path of serenity,
while some face the waters edge and give in.
here our path comes to shattered crust.
bleeding into the soulless waters.
it slowly rots, like the hopes we once held onto.
it rusts, like our view on the world we hoped to see.
but we can turn around, and move toward our reason,
away from the collapsing path,
it failed to take us.

linear burn is nice too http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/.....rBurn72dpi.jpg
YOU'RE A MAGICIAN!!
I definitely did not notice the fact the dock machinery looks exactly like a domo face :0 http://assets2.smart.fm/assets/user.....t/e100d748.gif
I think removing the bird is super key. When it's there it pulls the eye out of the picture too much. It turns out the bird's not so much adding compositional balance as distracting from and battling with the focal point.
It's up to you now. Make the right decision, Voln.

I like the hazy light, and the composition that somehow manages to keep irreconcilable angles under check: the hand railing on the right goes in one direction, the train rails on the dock-thing go in yet another, but they're all held within the frame inside a dark wedge, and so they form a whole.
Cool!
