After a bit too much time working on and perfecting, the Gryphon SPOV is finally finished!
Here's a good bit of the things it can do:
It can EAT you of course!
You can pet it!
You can pet it too much!
It can sleep!
It can lash out at people who interrupt it's sleep!
It has 5 different color schemes, Two being the ones in this preview, and the previous one.
It can do little emotes!
It's CUTE as heck!
The download link is here!: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1m.....Vj8pguBlgPzP0t
Also includes a small bonus video! (happened at the very last minute of testing, saw the opportunity and decided to take it.)
You can find my SPOV at the bellybound store, just like the other SPOVs
Also, this requires the Starbound simple vore mod (SSVM) in order to have this work, the link is right here:
(01/01/2022) changed the download link, as the old git has a minor issue that prevents access to the mod's central map, zyga's fork of the map includes the fixed version whilst retaining the original mod
just click on the green "code" button and download zip to download the mod, installation instructions are in the readme on both git and in the download
https://github.com/Zygahedron/Starb.....od/tree/master
To install the vore mod, as well as my addon:
- Download and extract the "StarboundSimpleVoreMod-9.5.zip" file from the github link above
- Go to your Starbound's mod folder , for steam it's "Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\mods"
^ You can make a folder if there isn't one already, as long as it's named "mods" without quotations
- Place all extracted folders into Starbound's mod folder (ie. SSVMSPOVchars, StarboundSimpleVoreMod, StarboundSimpleVoreModVSO, and all similar folders)
- Download my addon from the google drive above
- Extract that and place SSVMSPOVHappers into the "mods" folder, same as the previous folders
Go to the 2-stop-teleshop teleporter in the outpost, and head to the foodhall to access the vore content.
I will admit that this took longer than I would have liked, though a big part of that was this being my first actual attempt at spriting, I learned a lot from this, so hopefully any future projects will go much more smoothly.
and, big thanks to
Lekrashar and
ImaginaryZ for their help in this! They helped with every part of this project, everything went a lot smoother because of them!
(01/01/2022) Just for any new viewers who stumble upon this, this has been incorporated into the official SSVM mod for a while, though my personal download link still has the bonus video, so hah, this post was future proofed!

This is for Starbound's vore mod, SSVM. SPOV and VSOs are related is imaginaryz's work on the same mod, which lets users create scripted objects and vehicles that can act as predators.
Basically it allows for a crazy number of possibilities, from wiggling in a belly, to digestion, to more complicated stuff like predatory behavior, you can see a few different examples if you look at the SSVM or the SPOV tags/keywords.

Yes it can! the VSO mod has a modular "pill" system which lets you make small changes to how the SPOV functions.
To do this you just need to head to the "beta VSO machine" in the right side of the foodhall, get the pills you want as well as the "SPOV enhancer" place the enhancer machine down somewhere and you can apply pills to any VSO/SPOVs in your inventory. I think you do need to have placed the SPOV on the ground once just so you get the actual SPOV object and not the spawner, but overall it's really easy to do.

I really want to know how I can possibly talk to one of the devs for this mod. The discord didn't seem to have anyone able to join, how can I do so?
I want to see if it is possible to force spawn some of the vore monsters that were added but not implemented to see if they have any working code, and try to see if I can learn how to make it work!
